  1. Hasan, M. (2019) Robotics for Healthcare Service: A Transformative Research Approach to Leverage the Existing US Healthcare Structure for Consumer Well-Being (Literature Review and Data Collection Stage)
Summary: Robotics in Healthcare is increasingly reshaping healthcare industry service by performing various tasks, constituting a major source of innovation. I will propose a conceptual framework that includes the possessions and consequences of healthcare industries adopting and integrating robotics into service operations to reduce errors in healthcare services and consumers well-being. I will incorporate Transformative Service Research (TSR) lens and literature from service, technology marketing, and computer science, social psychology in my proposed framework to elaborates on the concept of robotics adoption as well as the antecedents (e.g. Doctors, Nurses and Patients) acceptance of robots. I will also discuss how the healthcare technology firms e.g. Stryker, Smith & Nephew (e.g. B2C vs. B2B) could build brand positioning using robots in medical technologies. Moreover, I will provide scholarly and managerial implications and a call for actions for managers to adopt and integrate robotics into healthcare service operations.
